Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, Retinal and Refractive Surgeon
Mr Fenton was awarded a scholarship to study medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin where he graduated in 1989. He trained at the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital in Dublin initially, before doing his advanced training at the New York State University, in Brooklyn, New York where he became US Board Certified in ophthalmic surgery in 1998. He then did a fellowship in vitreo-retinal surgery at Louisiana State University New Orleans, where he trained with Professor G. Peyman, an internationally recognised expert on diabetic laser eye surgery, before returning to Ireland as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Bons Secours Hospital, Tralee. He has also worked as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in the NHS.
Mr Fenton has extensive experience in cataract, retinal and refractive surgery and is a member of both the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He has published research papers in retinal surgery and is actively involved in refractive surgery research and training. He has performed over 4,000 refractive procedures at the LaserVision Eye Clinic in Dublin.
There are LaserVision Eye Clinics in Dublin and Belfast and Mr Fenton also takes consultations in Drogheda (Ardbryan Eye Clinic) and Clondalkin (Park West Clinic) as well as nationwide screening programmes for diabetic retinopathy. Whilst Mr Fenton's main areas of specialty are refractive, retinal and cataract surgery, he also treats all general ophthalmic conditions in his practice.

Mr Max B Mahendran is a specialist in Phlebology, dealing with diseases of veins. He qualified from Medical College in 1988 from Chennai University of India. He underwent basic surgical training in the United Kingdom from 1991 and graduated with surgical fellowship from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He moved to Ireland in 1995 to continue higher surgical training. He had trained in specialised surgical units in Colorectal Surgery, Hepatobiliary - Liver Transplantation and Thoracic surgery, before continuing on to specialise in Vascular and EndoVascular surgery. Mr Mahendran has worked in Cork University Hospital & South Infirmary Hospital Cork, Cavan General Hospital and St. Vincent?s Hospital, Mater Hospital and St. James Hospital Dublin.
He joined the St. James? Vascular Institute in 2002 to specialise in Vascular and EndoVascular surgery involving arterial and venous diseases. He also worked in Vascular Surgical units in Mater Hospital and University College Hospital Galway. He was appointed to the post of Senior lecturer in Vascular surgery at National University of Ireland Galway and developed the EndoVascular training programme for the Western Vascular Institute. He has also served as a Director on the board of Western Vascular Institute. He was instrumental in developing the PVD clinic and the Venous ulcer clinic at University College Hospital Galway.
Mr Max B Mahendran first set up the specialist Phlebology practice at Shanakiel Hospital, Cork in 2008. He trained under Prof MacKay in Florida, USA in minimally invasive venous procedures and introduced the EndoVenous Laser Ablation procedure for varicose veins in Cork. He also trained with Prof Tessari from Italy in the Foam Sclerotherapy technique for varicose veins. He extended his practice to Kerry region in 2009 and set up the Phlebology practice at Kerry Clinic, Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee. He has joined the Park West clinic in 2010 as a Phlebology specialist surgeon. He is the founding director of VeinCare Ireland.

Born in Iraq in 1970. Medicine runs in the family, as Dr Salman's mother is a pediatrician and his sister in an onco-plastic breast surgeon. He completed his pre-med in Texas, USA. He then moved to Ireland and did Medicine in UCD, Dublin and graduated with Honors in surgery.
He completed his general surgery training in Ireland and afterwards he returned to USA to train under the renowned Dr. Michael E. DeBakey in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Methodist Hospital in Houston. It was during this time that Dr. Salman decided to branch into the area of Aesthetic plastic Surgery. He then went to Australia to receive further training in Breast Surgery and returned to Texas to complete specialist training in the John Tebbett technique for Breast surgery.
Passionate and innovatory about his work, Dr. Salman has practiced as an Aesthetic surgeon for the last eight years in Ireland. In 2005 Dr. Salman established Park west clinic, a specialized day surgery centre and the first of its kind in Ireland. It encompasses state of the art operating facilities and is accredited by the NTPF. This operating facility incorporates Dr. Salman's beloved Auralia Cosmetics. The leading cosmetic surgery provider in Ireland with clinics in Kilkenny, Limerick and Dublin.
He has performed over 5000 Aesthetic surgery procedures. He was the first cosmetic surgeon to introduce the Biodynamic Breast augmentation system to Ireland, and the first to use it in Ireland and the UK.
He has a special interest in the Internal Mastopexy Technique and has vast experience in the area of laser aesthetics and Tumescent liposuction.
